Located in historic downtown Milton, NC, the MILTON STUDIO ART GALLERY is owned and operated by three local professional artists. It is surrounded by antique shops that have long been a draw to this quaint town.Aunt Millie'sPizza/subs is just a few doors up and a favorite of the VIR crowd.

The three artists, Shirley Cadmus, Mimi Games, and Chrystal Hardt saw an empty storefront with big long walls and decided to fill the space with their paintings, pastels, drawings, pottery, and digital photography. With a shared vision of exposing their art and talents to the public, they opened the doors on December 1, 2007. "We hope to create a space where people will feel comfortable about coming in to browse, visit, learn, and collect works of art that enhance their lives."

The gallery accepts work by other local/regional artists on consignment. Artists interested in showing their work should contact the gallery.

The three are open to offering a wide variety of workshops and classes depending on the interests of the community. Some examples are: painting, drawing, watercolor, pen and ink, icons, or how to use Adobe Photoshop. Special events are also being planned. To learn more, check our EVENTS page often. "Since most of our time is spent working in our private studios, regular gallery hours are only on weekends. However, we are usually only a phone call away, and would be glad to come open up if called!"
